ICT Vision for Douglas Park School
At Douglas Park School current Information Communication Technology is integrated into our learning programmes, and children are able to learn and demonstrate their learning through ICT.
We acknowledge that our children are living in the digital age, and we equip them with the skills they need. Our children develop a strong digital language from the moment they enter our classrooms, which provides a foundation for ICT both in the school and in their daily lives. As new technologies emerge teaching staff are finding ways to adapt and integrate these into our classrooms. Our children and staff are open and receptive to new technology, and new practices; extending ourselves, and our world, with ICT. Our school has a high standard of ICT equipment that keeps pace with emerging technologies.
