DPS Houses
|
Houses DPS has 4 houses named after legendary New Zealanders. Batten (black), Rutherford (red), Hillary (green) and Sheppard (blue). We compete in school-wide competitions to win house shields. We can win the shields for Jump Jam, Cross Country, Athletics and the over-all winner for the year. At the start of each year house captains are elected to lead their house groups. It is a fierce competition between pupils and staff! Houses are vertically grouped so they have kids in them from the new entrants to Year 6 - staff are also put in houses and we stay in these the entire time we are at DPS.
